About Us,
History - Following 23 years in the industry as a
fully qualified air conditioning engineer, the founder Stephen Brown
started the business early in 1993. Trading as ACE Services and
A C Engineers Ltd the main business was service and maintenance
contracts, but soon moved into full installation work. Four years
later in 1997, a further company was added, A C Engineering Ltd
that focused on ductwork and mechanical engineering services generally.
A clear rationale emerged to expand into electrical work and in
1998 a fourth company A C Electrical Services Ltd commenced trading.
Client trends are towards the use of companies with broad skills
and so in 1999 expansion into full mechanical services was well
underway.
From
small beginnings with 3 staff members and a couple of offices in
a single location, the ACE Group now employs some 53 members of
staff in 2 strategic locations that ensure the ability to provide
a national service to a wide range of clients.
